I'm a Canberra boy from way back but also lived in Brisbane for over ten years. I'm married with two kids, and when I'm not enjoying my Fame Trivia hosting you'll often find me playing competition Eight Ball.

I’ve been hosting Fame Trivia at PJ O’Reilly’s in the city since 2005 and I have to say, I love it! Sure there are times when I go begrudgingly, but by the end of the night, my spirits are lifted and I’m on a bit of a high. A testament I think to the great bunch that come along to PJ’s week after week.

By day you’ll find me playing the classic hits on Canberra’s 2CA. Yes it’s on ye olde AM band, but also on digital radio & streaming on-line at www.2ca.com.au.

I’m originally from Christchurch, New Zealand but don’t hold that against me or I’ll bring up the under-arm bowling incident. (No, we’ll NEVER forget it!) Australia has been my home since 1992 and in Canberra since 1995 so at least most of the accent has gone but I do occasionally slup up.

Hi Everyone, my name is Sian and I have been hosting trivia at the Weston Club since July 2010.  It's a great venue and I have awesome players who are always up for a bit of a laugh and to have fun.  I work full time and am currently studying my masters for Human Resource Management, which keeps me very busy.  I like pina coladas, getting caught in the rain and the collected works of spermologists worldwide.  Hope to see you at a trivia night soon!  

Bob was sitting in the public bar of Berowra Heights Hotel some time in the late 90¹s in his usual state of inebriation when a friend wandered in and asked him when the Manchester United air disaster was. "February 1958" he said and watched his friend wander into the other bar. "What the hell?" he thought, so he followed. As he walked through the door, some guy with a mic said "Who had the hit with this in the 80¹s?" and played  "Obsession¹ by Animotion. "Football trivia and obscure 80¹s music?! I¹ve found where I belong!" said Bob to himself, whilst a tear of happiness trickled down his cheek.

So for the next few years Bob played as much trivia as was possible and enjoyed the many benefits. Well, the drinks. So when he was asked to run a trivia night for Fame Trivia in Umina in 2001 he jumped at the chance whilst his liver sighed with relief. Since then he has regularly run trivia nights

2 or 3 times a week and made far too many inappropriate jokes in amongst the questions.

If you don¹t know him from trivia, you might know him as Benny, the world¹s bounciest keyboard player from Abbalanche, one of Australia¹s premier tribute shows. Or you may have just seen him in the street and laughed quietly to yourself. That¹s OK, most people do.

When asked to name their favourite thing about Bob, most of his friends plead the 5th amendment.

Even after 10 years of running trivia, Bob still knows nothing about Geography.

Jonathan Lee Jones has been entertaining people all over Australia for well over a decade now. Be it as an actor, musician or trivia host, Jonathan utilizes all of these talents to deliver a memorable show regardless of what type of function. He started working for Fame Trivia in 2002 in Canberra where he launched the Durham Castle Arms Hotel Trivia night which has since had one of the highest attendance rates of players ever recorded in Australia, before moving to Sydney a few years later to run two more weekly shows for Fame. Whatever the occasion, whenever the time, wherever the performance you can rest assured that when Jonathan Lee Jones is on the microphone you will be entertained by a tried and tested performer a professional, flexible host with a wealth of industry experience and a willingness to always make your day a success no matter what the affair.

With a solid and varied body of work in her repertoire and over a decade of experience in the entertainment industry, Olivia de Vere transitions with ease between acting, presenting, MC’ing and styling. Her wicked sense of humour, infectious zest for life and poised, confident manner makes this stunning natural red head the ideal candidate for any campaign or presenting role.

After embarking on a personal journey that took her to the four corners of the earth as an intrepid gypset traveler, Olivia returned to her hometown of Sydney. She honed her craft over four intensive years, training as a method actor under the late Hayes Gordon at the renowned Ensemble Theatre Acting Studios. 

As a model Olivia has headed up both national and international campaigns for internationally recognized brands such as Fairfax & Roberts and Schwarzkopf. Formally trained as a theatre actor, Olivia is equally at home in front of the camera and her diverse roles have included stints on Channel 7's ‘All Saints’ and on the ABC’s ‘The Chasers War on Everything’.

Olivia is a natural MC and presenter. In recent years she has combined her extensive knowledge of fashion along with her innate ability to connect with an audience to host both the acclaimed 2010 Rosemount Fashion Festival – Australia’s premier fashion industry event - and the Miss Teen Australia Finals and Miss World Supermodel pageant.  

Along with her busy schedule of appearances and performances, Olivia has also launched her own styling and image consultancy business, Fashion Fox. Olivia is a passionate stylist, working with renowned label Camilla the “Kaftan Queen”. Olivia is a Camilla ambassador styling at private events, celebrity fittings, fashion shows and shoots. Olivia instructs workshops both in the creative and corporate worlds specializing in deportment, grooming and voice. She is now busy at work presenting and producing on her latest project Fashion Fox TV, a multi-media fashion content program. 

When Olivia is not working, you can find her indulging in her passion for all things Latin, flirting in fluent Spanish, shooting tequila and salsa dancing like no one is watching.  She is equally at home in the saddle, as a proficient horsewoman. She continues to challenge herself; her range is vast, unpredictable and constantly expanding. Join her on her journey.

Previously a cabaret singer and compere at UK holiday camps, on cruise ships and in Sydney and Queensland clubs. Presently calling Big Cash Bingo 5 times a week at Southport RSL Club and weekly Prize Bingo at Sherwood Services Club. Have been with Fame Trivia for over 5 years now and currently hosting at Harrigans Drift Inn on Monday nights and Logan Village Hotel on Tuesday nights. Despite hosting Fame trivia nights for more than a decade, I can honestly say I can’t remember the answer to any of the questions. I reckon Einstein had it right when he said “I never remember anything that can be written down.”  While he was busy being a genius, I’ve been distracted with acting and writing gigs. I’ve had guest leads on Blue Heelers, appearances on Neighbours, Stingers and Lowdown and written for the ABC comedy Backberner.  My most embarrassing moment came as student pilot, holding up a jumbo jet after straying into Tullamarine. My teachers always said I was easily distracted.

Previously the Venue Manager of the G.V. Hotel, I have been hosting Fame Trivia Nights for close to 2 years. In a former life, I was an Industrial Electrician, Cafe Owner and Project Engineer/Manager. Also a keen traveller, spending a lot of time roaming the UK, the Middle East, Europe and the USA. Nat is originally from Sydney’s Northern Beaches and first discovered Fame Trivia as a player at the Harbord Beach Hotel. After marrying one of her Trivia team-mates and having their first child, she started to host Trivia in early 2006. Since then Nat has moved to Melbourne, had another baby and still continues to host for Fame Trivia.  Nat currently hosts at the Rosstown every Wednesday night at 8.30pm. It’s a small & friendly pub so come & join us.

I am a dynamic figure, often seen scaling walls and crushing ice. I have been known to remodel train stations on my lunch breaks, making them more efficient in the area of heat retention. I translate ethnic slurs for Cuban refugees, I write award-winning operas, I manage time efficiently. Occasionally, I tread water for three days in a row.

 I woo women with my sensuous and godlike trombone playing, I pilot bicycles up severe inclines with unflagging speed, and I cook Thirty Minute Brownies in twenty minutes. I am an expert in stucco, a veteran in love, and an outlaw in Peru.

 Using only a hoe and a large glass of water, I once single-handedly defended a small village in the Amazon Basin from a horde of ferocious army ants. I play bluegrass cello, and I was scouted by the Gold Coast Suns. I am the subject of numerous documentaries. When I’m bored, I build large suspension bridges in my yard. I enjoy urban hang gliding. On Wednesdays nights, after hosting Fame Trivia at the Sir Henry Barkly Hotel, I repair electrical appliances free of charge.

 I am an abstract artist, a concrete analyst, and a ruthless bookie. Critics worldwide swoon over my original line of corduroy evening wear. I don’t perspire. I am a private citizen, yet I receive fan mail. I have been caller number nine and won the weekend passes. Last summer I toured New South Wales with a traveling centrifugal-force demonstration. My deft floral arrangements have earned me fame in international botany circles. Children trust me.

 I can hurl tennis rackets at small moving objects with deadly accuracy. I once read Paradise Lost, Moby Dick, and David Copperfield in one day and still had time to refurbish an entire dining room that evening. I know the exact location of every food item in the supermarket. I have performed covert operations for ASIO. I sleep once a week; when I do sleep, I sleep in a chair. While on holiday in Tasmania, I successfully negotiated with a group of terrorists who had seized a small bakery. The laws of physics do not apply to me.

I balance, I weave, I dodge, I frolic, and my bills are all paid. On weekends, to let off steam, I participate in full-contact origami. Years ago I discovered the meaning of life but forgot to write it down. I have made extraordinary four-course meals using only a Mouli and a toaster oven. I breed prizewinning clams. I have won bullfights in San Juan, cliff-diving competitions in Sri Lanka, and spelling bees at the Kremlin. I have played Hamlet, I have performed open-heart surgery, and I have spoken with Elvis.

Hosting Fame Trivia twice a week has been the greatest challenge of my life.

Version 1: Hey there, I've been having fun entertaining for a long time now. Spent a while on the Radio, I've played a few songs at a few functions and I've asked well over 21000 quiz questions. We have an great time at the Fame Trivia nights I host, making friends, showing off our Intellect (or lack of it) and winning prizes. All in all its not a bad way to make a living. I'm really looking forward to seeing you at one of my regular shows. Version 2: Bernard The Brain was born in Sydney, into a family of Eskimos, as a boy he was taken from NSW by missionaries, The Brain spent his youth in Canberra, jamming forks into power points, and building his Intellectual Gladiators obstacle course in his car port. After going to the highly regarded local TAFE to study snack foods, The Brain increased his I.Q. to over 9000. Unfortunately after an incident with his fork and power point hobby, he now has the intelligence of a walnut. Running for mayor on a Pecans are Delicious platform, he believes he can win in a landside, and hopes to someday have someone name a sandwich after him. P.S. He likes long walks on the Beach at sunset and pines at night for world peace.
